After the council presentation yesterday, I went to sleep at 6:30pm and woke up this morning at 7:00am, and I am still tired!! Anyway today the group met in the architecture parking lot and we headed off to Union Tiles to try and get some samples and a quotation. The prices we are getting are still quite steep we are hoping they will give us a better deal once they realise this is a community project.
At the same time the launch date is approaching fast, and we still have not begun construction. I am worried that if we don’t start soon we wont be able to complete any of the interventions and that would be a real let down for us and the community. According to the schedule we worked out, we are supposed to start work on the 7th and complete it on the 21st which would leave us with 5 days to tie up any loose ends and to work on our launch and our paired projects. I have to admit the schedule is tight but hopefully we can stick to it and finish on time.
