Mission: To continue digging Foundations
Today, it had been planned that we would have a meeting with the sponsors from Germany at 14H00 at Wits University. We went to Kwa-Thema in the morning and arrived on site at 09H00 to try to complete the digging of foundations and to order materials. Sifiso (Mr. Bean) and I remained on site, whilst the others went to Builder’s Warehouse to order materials. Needless to say, I felt the day was unproductive as we were exhausted and I had not had my regular Steers Breakfast, thus my energy level was at its lowest. Most of the volunteers did not come to site as they were still attending school. It was only the two of us, "Bra Skool" (Anthony), and an elderly gentlemen who worked the pick as though it was an extension of his arm. Without much manpower, we decided to call it a day at 12H30 and returned to school.
