During the period of the KwaThema project there have been many meetings held by our chess park team. To set up a meeting you need to notify all the people who must attend about when and where the meeting will take place. There hasn’t been a single meeting where everyone has arrived on time, in fact most of the time, at least two people arrive half an hour late. That doesn’t bother me.
I get bothered and offended when team members arrive late then someone says that they are late because they are operating on African time. What these ignorant people don’t realize is that the Egyptians figured out the calendar long before the Greeks adopted it. Egypt is in Africa, so know what you are implying when you say that you are operating on African time.
