Self-Catering

Tourists are people who look strange. They are accepted but they don't belong and they don't fit in wherever they are seen. They seem to come from a place where everyone owns a camera. But most importantly, tourists seem to have tons of money.
The tuck shop on the north side of the chess park has only been open once since we've been going to KwaThema. It was open the third time we went to chess park. The first time we arrived at KwaThema it looked as if we were tourists. The second time we went to chess park the Kwathema residents probably thought that the people who seem to have money are regular visitors. Hence the tuckshop opened the third time we were there.
On the day when the tuckshop was opened, not a single person in our team went to buy over there. And it's been closed since. So although the chess park has a tuckshop across the street, we usually drive (today walk) to shops that are a few kilometres away to get food.
Imagine how much easier life would be if we had supported the tuck shop on that day when we found it opened.
