I met Robyn early this morning at Build, Plumb & Tile near Cresta where she was buying materials for her shuttering for her paired project. I needed to find a specific colour of enamel to paint my poles for my paired project. I was at Cashbuild in KwaThema yesterday and they didn’t stock the colour that I wanted. After a brief search at Jack’s Paint in Cresta I found the paint I wanted. I had to get it back to site ASAP so that Lunga and his crew could start the top coats of enamel.
My day on site at the beerhall seemed just like Monday and Tuesday- the day’s all just seem a blur. January and I carried on welding the balustrade- this task was really starting to get tedious- it seems we kept on running into problems which meant that I constantly had to supervise January and consult my group whenever a problem arose. I just wanted to work on installing the props but I knew that the props would go in quickly so I chose to spend more of my time on the balustrade- we need to get this finished and looking good soon!
